First of all, welcome Laura D.
Second of all, I'm totally jealous of everyone who saw Paul Rudd.
I love listening to stranger's conversations. I'm just so curious! I often have to remind myself to stop staring. So, tonight we ate at Mexican Villa next to a couple obviously on their first date. All was going well until she told him that she has 8 cats. She then launches into a looonnng description of all the cute things they do. Poor guy.
Obvious as to why she was on one of her many first dates...I'm so glad that I married Cindy before she moved out on her own...and had a chance to develop who knows what kind of habits (that single women develop) like cats or compulsive neatness or hating men...or whatever.
ReplyDeleteI also have the gift of eavsdropping...and do so enjoy it at restraunts...etc. It is the only way that I can stand to eat at restaurants alone...when I am traveling...etc.
Additionally, I like to make up little back stories about the relationships of people as you see them in the mall or on the street, etc. I guess it's just an overactive imagination.
i like to make up back stories about the people who come into old navy. and i also like to pretend i can read the minds of the guys who come in with their girlfriends, or worse-their girlfriends and their girlfriend's mom. i pretty much know what they're thinking, anyway.
ReplyDeleteMexican Villa, huh? Maybe I should give it another try...
ReplyDeletethe best thing about mexican villa is the DR. Pepper. that and the sweet sauce.

ReplyDeleteHillenblog - I take offense to the comment about the habits that "single women develop"! I am sure I have no such "habits". You make it sound like married women or men for that matter don't have any quirky habits. :-)
ReplyDeleteThe other day in the dollar section of Target I heard "I am totally committed to you. But, as far as the marriage thing goes, I'm not sure I'll ever marry anyone." I wonder if he had just proposed.
ReplyDeleteHey Jenny...was that 'Drew and Steph OD talking...or Rose and C O X...by any chance?
