So.....
I have had a hard time coming up with a blog topic. After the whole going to Korea to pick up our new son, everything else seems rather dull. I'm pretty sure you don't want to read a blog about feeding schedules, nap times, and poopy diapers but that's what my life is currently revolving around. This weekend is busy so maybe I will have something to discuss other than grocery shopping and baby care.

Our weekend.....
First, Oliver wore his daddy's track suit to mexican night at the Demers. I forgot to take pitures at the actual event but I can assure you, it was "big fun". My mom had a brunch for extended family and friends to meet Ollie. The girls wore very cute tanks made by Sky. Maggie and I attended Emma C.'s birthday party. Hillengrandma and grandpa stopped by. We ate at the coolest chinese resturant I've ever been to. Yen Ching in Ozark. You absolutely have to try it. Went to Jimmy John's after church for lunch. Ollie went swimming for the first time. (We think it was his first time.) Fun, fun, fun!

I'm gonna see how many times I can say "old people" in this post.
We were invited by an old people Sunday school class to attend their Valentine's day banquet. Let me tell you, those old people really know how to party! They brought their wedding albums, regifted bad gifts, and Matt hosted the Newlywed Game. The contestants were old people, not newlyweds. It was so fun! Thanks for letting us come, Toy and Charles!

Ollie at home
We have been home almost 5 days. Oliver is starting to throw off the jetlag and come to terms with central standard time. Parenting a grieving 5 month old is stretching. I've turned into the neruotic mom I've always made fun of. He is usually full of smiles and cuddles but I think he's starting to realize he's not going back. He has bouts of grief that are scary but necessary.
Anywho, I've noticed a few of you have yet to meet the new kid. Sarah, Brandy, SKYLER....I'm talking to you. We love visitors, drop by any time.

Thank you....
I finally have found myself with a few free moments and I would like to publicly thank all of you.
Thank you so much to......
Those who gave financially.
Those that prayed for us.
Those that thought we were doing something crazy but were kind enough not to tell us.
Those who were as excited about welcoming our boy as we were.
Those that planned a fundraiser picnic, huge airport welcome, and baby shower.
Those that took 3 hours and cleaned all the broken limbs from our yard so we
could come home to one less thing to do.
Those that have visited us or called just to check and see how we were adjusting.
Those that took care of our girls while we were in Korea.
Those who helped me pack and plan our trip.
Those who have brought over wonderful meals.
We love you all and we are so thankful you shared this awesome journey with us.
