New food

1. After much thought, I tried Social Suppers. I went with 4 friends and made 8 meals in less than 2 hours. The meals are large enough to serve my family twice so it's really like I made 16 meals. They have about 15 dishes every month to choose from. It's stuff I wouldn't normally make so I'm excited to try something new. Like the bacon wrapped turkey medallions in blueberry balsamic sauce that we will be having this week.

2. I was officially the second to last person (Jenny being the last) to try Ocean Zen. It was wonderful!

3. Tonight, we made fondue. Well really, I watched Holly and Mandy make fondue but I ate it. So yummy.

Social Suppers?? You need to fill me in girl! Those Turkey medallions sound yum-o! (I wonder if I need to send Rachael Ray a dollar for saying that?) Oh and Ocean Zen is my favorite!!

I have to put in a plug here for a young lady and her husband that we know from Strafford. She has a business like this called Dinner Belles, on S.National in Kelly Plaza. I have eaten some of the food from her place and it was divine. If you decide to do this again, you might give her a try. Talk to Hillenblog's wife. She was the recipient of some of those meals.

We went to Ocean Zen on Mothers Day. I felt like a judge on Iron Chef America! It was great!

I am very fond of fondue and Ocean Zen...We should make a road trip to Nashville to the "Melting Pot" restaurant...I think it is the closest one...It is amazingly fun.

If I only knew anyone going to Nashville...
