I really do love eBay. I made $80 last week and so far this week I've made close to $30. It's the best place to get rid of stuff and the greatest place to track down hard to find items. Yesterday, I bought a lamp that matches that groovy nursery set we're using for Oliver. It's usually a fun experience.
The only downside to the world's largest marketplace is dealing with stupid people. This world is full of them and we've met quite a few of them this week at the fair. I would say that for every 50 items I sell on eBay, one of these items goes to an ignorant individual who then causes a stink and makes me regret ever selling anything at all.
I am currently dealing with such a person. She bought three items of toddler clothing from me. She got quite the steal considering the shirts still had the tags on and she only paid $.99 for all three. She emailed me yesterday to let me know that one of the shirts was only a size 12 months and I had listed them to be a size 12-18 months. She said that size 12 months was too small for her child. I'm sure that you all with children have picked up by now that the stupidity of her claim is that size 12 months and 12-18 months are the same size! Everyone other than her knows that! Anyway, she wants a refund which is totally understandable considering that this one shirt cost her .33 cents!!!! She wants me to pay for her s&h which no seller on ebay does.
Thanks so much for letting me vent. I appreciate it.

33 cents! even if you sent her the money, it would cost 37 cents for the stamp. I would send back 3 dimes and 3 pennies and call it even.
Of course, that probably wouldn't satisfy her...
Reminds me of the story of the guy who was raffling off a dead donkey: http://www.gcfl.net/archive.php?funny=20060510
